I stay and work in Johannesburg and was forced to have to study my last module to complete my degree part time. I had to get special permission for this and I got the relevant signatures and sent my form through to my relevant faculty. I wrote my exam with no issues but when it came to releasing my results, I was told I was owing fees when in actual fact, I had overpaid during registration. It turned out I had been charged for a full course instead of just the exam and not only that, but the very rude man named Ruben that I dealt with told me that I had not applied to study through extended DP! This was a shock as I went down to Durban specifically to apply, as I could have just registered online and saved myself the trouble! On top of that, I paid another amount to get my results released and my result was a pass but I am told my degree is not complete because I am not allowed to study through extended DP for 2yrs in a row, something I wasn't told when the relevant people signed my form. It has been over 2months and it has not been resolved and I am being held back because I can not apply to study further or for other jobs without confirmation that my degree is complete!
