I recently had the horror of dealing with HP customer care. Whilst they are friendly on the phone they seem to be good at wasting time and even better at empty promises and belittling you.

I bought my laptop (HP Pavilion g7) from Dions Wired in December 2012 just before leaving for the Netherlands where I worked for a year. After the first week of use the screen started giving me problems and the switchable graphics would cease to work. I contacted HP in the Netherlands and they said to contact the country where I bought it from. I brought the laptop back in February 2013 as we had a family emergency. I took it back to Dions Wired where they told me they could not exchange it for another one and it had to be sent for repairs. I flew back in the meantime, it took them well over 2 months to fix it. I had to spend extra money to have it couriered back to me in the Netherlands. At the time when I received it the screen was fixed, but the switchable graphics card did not work in the slightest. The machine started overheating and hanged at the slightest task.

I have had nothing but trouble with this Laptop and the so called "service" that HP offered was a joke in the least.
