My laptop HP EliteBook 8540w again started with its overheating problem and now it is not booting up. All the lights flashes and the heat fan goes crazy but the laptop/screen does not come on
The above fault was reported to HP on the 26/08/2013.
To date i still had no positive feedback only a request for my User names and passwords that i did not supply as this will give them access to all my accounts and personal files as i use my MS live login details with Win 8 and i do not feel they need my password to test hardware as my password will not cause the laptop to over heat or not startup.
I had this Laptop fixed now a couple of times resulting in everything being replaced from the motherboard to the processor and graphics card. I feel that a replacement laptop must be provided. I'm not going to go through this every 4 to 6 months.
i'm very disappointed in the long time it is taking to have the problem resolved especially after the number of times it was repaired for the same problem and it is still under warranty.
