My 2 week old laptop was damaged during the lightning storm. I took it to Matrix Warehouse Ezulwini for repairs. They said the screen should be replaced. I paid R1400. It would take 2 days. After 2 days they said the problem was the motherboard. It would take 2 weeks to get a replacement shipped in. But the supply didn't come till January 2013. The new motherboard didn't work. I asked for refund and my laptop. They refused. Promised to fix it. But they didn't. In April they offered to give me another older laptop. I refused. I also saw my laptop that day. It was deeply scratched all over.
Since October 2012 to November 2013 I have endured deceit and dishonesty concerning the condition of my laptop. The facts are:
-I have had to initiate all communications with Matrix concerning the laptop
-My requests to speak with the manager are always met with the response that he is not around and in South Africa (for more than 1 year?!?!?! really?)
-I have proof of commissioning repair to a product from Matrix, but in my possession to date have neither laptop nor the money paid for this service.
