Audi South Africa
GROSS NEGLIGENCE & LACK OF ACCOUNTABILITY

For the sake of expediency, i will briefly describe the events leading up to this complaint article.
I recently purchased a second hand Audi TT. To satisfy my buying decision, i requested Audi to perform an 80 point check several other inspection tasks on the vehicle. Subsequently, vehicle booked in with undertaking of a 3 hour inspection period. Instead, this resulted in an intial 5 day long ordeal (which incl. a basic oil change service & new pollen filter). To my surprise, Audi offered NOT to charge for the initial 80 point check (which in hindsight beggs the question to what negligible extent the inspection was performed). During this initial period, i instructed Audi to fix (amongst other things) instrument cluster (TPMS & Airbag), to which a crash sensor was replaced on a second 8 day visit to the workshop. Initial time, vehicle collected & found lose panels, vibrating engine fan & oil finger marks. The second period produced NO result on the initial job requested, instead an attempt by management to excuse poor / unaccountable workmanship. Further damages (not enough space to list all - panels paint) were met with money offers & refusal to remedy vehicle! Action 2 follow.
