I had purchased a 2010 Audi A4 1.8T Multitronic from a car dealer and experienced an electrical fault not long after the purchase. The vehicle was still under maintenance plan and Audi CIC arranged for the vehicle to be taken to Audi Klerksdorp on a rollback. While there, it was determined to test the vehicle for excessive oil consumption. The tests were performed over a period of time and it was determined that the vehicle would have to be repaired for this problem. Renier Strydom and his team (Riaan the technician and JC Swart the service adviser) arranged for a courtesy vehicle while the Audi was in for the necessary repairs.

After the repairs were done to the vehicle, I was contacted by JC and informed the vehicle was ready for collection. After collecting the vehicle and having driven it for a day, the engine light lit and I phoned Audi Klerksdorp to inform them of the engine light. JC immediately asked me if I could get the vehicle back to them as soon as possible. I had arranged for the following morning and to my surprise they arranged to meet me about an hour later in Potchefstroom to investigate the engine light problem.

So a big thank you to Renier, Riaan and JC.
