To ALL future Audi customers. Before you consider putting pen to paper, make sure the REP selling you the car explains the extra specifications to you and if they work on the car you want to purchase. This is my third Audi and LAST AUDI EVER. Do not add any extras to your Audi unless they are factory fitted. PDC as added extras to my A1. Audi Westrand has requested that I bring my car in for the 3rd time to this rectify on MY time and expense and they still can't get it right. I have added Cruise Control; the speed cruise control does not work going down a hill. I sent my car to Audi Westrand for the second time. When I went to fetch my car I get told by a very polite and helpful service manager that cruise control will never hold going down a hill due to the fact that the Audi A1 does not support this function!! At no time was it explained to me. To this end, Audi SA, unless you can resolve the PDC and Cruise control, Remove this from my car at your expense and return the car to me in its original factory fitted state without any extras. I would like to see how long Audi SA takes to respond to this complaint as my experience with Audi on a service level is much to be desired.
