Today when I picked up a rental car for the 3rd time in less than 2 months from Tempest Centurion the car was yet again not ready. It seems that they only to to wash it when the client shows up. My average time for collecting a car from them is over 30 minutes and this time was over 40 minutes. This is not a case that they are busy and that caused the delay, I was the only customer there, had the car book for 2pm well before I showed up, got the paperwork finished quickly, just a case of the car not being ready and then I am being made to wait while they go and wash it. To top it all off it was not even clean when I got it, lots of mud streaks, some kind of bird seed in the boot. I am appalled at the experience of picking up cars from Tempest, especially compared to other car rental agencies such as Europcar and Hertz which I use almost weekly.
