Our CEO left his expensive sunglasses in a Tempest car hire vehicle. He went back to get them out the car but couldn't because the keys were already in the drop box. He could see the glasses from outside the car and sent me an sms at 5.50am to let me know. I tried calling their office from that time but no answer. I left numerous messages for the "manager" but his stance and that of the rest of the branch and head office customer services is "tough luck we have an indemnity".
I asked for the CCTV cameras to be check - no response after 2 full workings days and 4 normal days. The attitude from this woman is cheeky and downright rude. They have no CCTV - not helpful at all. These glasses are expensive and bought overseas and are sentimental to our CEO.
The so called branch manager and customer services lady are basically calling our CEO a - which I highly doubt of a man who runs a multimillion rand company.
NEVER USE THIS COMPANY - AVIS GIVES AMAZING SERVICE.
