My Tempest Car Hire complaint from 27/0/2013 "Exploitative and diabolical billing" refers. After that complaint the Cape Town regional manager called me and apologized for the astronomical amount that they claimed I owed and confirmed that we don't owe each other a cent. Today I got another call from Tempest Car Hire claiming that I owe them R6000 even though I paid for my car hire a month ago. I'm thinking of referring this company to the Consumer Commission for their repeated transgressions against me, disturbing my peace and causing me unnecessary stress. I will never touch this company again and will warn everybody else against them. I believe a lot of innocent people are black listed because of dodgy billing such as this one, hence I think the Consumer Protection Act needs to be invoked.
