I hired a car from Tempest during the first week in March. I was charged R650 for a fuel deposit and was told that the charge would be reversed when I returned the car with a full tank of petrol. I returned the car on the 16th of Feb. I filled fuel when I left home. I then drove approximately 18km to where I needed to drop the car off. As a result the fuel gauge was slightly above full. The gentleman who took the car said he would top it up and then reverse the charges accordingly. When they reversed the charges I saw that i was charged R294 for fuel. I then phoned and was told that the car required 31 litres of fuel. i argued with the gentleman who then agreed that i was over charged and agreed to refund me R150 of that money. I further argued that he was ripping me off. he then said that there wasn't anything he could do, I had to accept the charges reversed or get nothing back. I am still waiting to get this R150 back. I am highly upset, Tempest is supposed to be a reputable company but it seems as if they are just trying to rip people off. People beware don't use Tempest they WILL rip you off. I want
