Waiting 3 weeks for Windscreen

Over 3 weeks ago I contacted PG Glass Heidelberg with regards to a crack on my windscreen. I drive an Alfa Romeo 159 (2007). On 2 occasions before ordering the windscreen I confirmed with the lady that my Alfa does NOT have a rain sensor. I then received the call to bring my car in to have the windscreen fitted (this was about 3 days later). I dropped the car off, and was called within 2 hours saying that they had ordered the wrong windscreen. They in fact had ordered the windscreen WITH the rain sensor. I don't know how incompetent you have to be to make this mistake after I confirmed twice that there was no rain sensor.

I was then told that they had no stock of the windscreen I was looking for and it needed to be ordered from Cape Town. They said they would be in touch with me. I waited another 2 weeks before anyone had contacted me. I phoned the branch and they said the windscreen had broken on the way up from Cape Town. No one bothered to inform me about this. I have been pulled by the police about the cracked windscreen, fortunately they believe this story.

So now I am still waiting. I will find out from your competitors if they have my screen, if they do, you lose the deal.
