I booked my Pajero Sport into Maemo on the 9th of January 2012 for a 50000km service, with three additional small items of concern to be attended to. The vehicle was booked in by Jacob just after 07h00 (I was second in the queue). I was not contacted by Jacob through the day, but returned to collect the vehicle just after 16h00. To my surprise, the vehicle was still on the lift, with the engine oil being drained.

When I confronted Jacob about the situation, he informed me that they were waiting for an oil filter to be dispatched from the main parts depot in central Rustenburg - this being NINE hours after I'd booked the vehicle in! The filter eventually arrived after 16h40, and the vehicle was returned to me after 17h30. To add insult, because it was so late, the vehicle was not washed after it had been worked on.

This is definitely NOT what I would refer to as professional service, and if this is the norm then Maemo needs to jack up its act!
