MAJOR service without stock of BASIC parts

Booked my vehicle in for major service beginning December 2012, they said I would have to have the vehicle in at 07:00 the following morning for a service time slot of 16:00 - Some people do require their vehicles and do have a job, so for what reason?

Vehicle dropped in the morning. Mercedes service dept. contact me at about 15:00 to notify that the vehicle would be ready for collection at 17:00. Upon arrival to collect the vehicle at about 16:45 on a Friday, I was advised that they have just started working on it. When they were finally done at 17:50, I was informed that they don't have fuel filters for my vehicle in stock. Why book a MAJOR service when you don't have BASIC parts? Get charged for the major service thats invoiced items look exactly the same as that of a minor service. Charged more for the use of the word "major" - Again, for what? My car wasn't even washed.

So they ordered the fuel filter, I was informed that they would notify me when it arrives. Had to phone on Monday to find out what is happening, nobody knew. Karika then called back later to say that they have had the part for ages, and appologised. After the service, car giving boost issues. Diagnostics???
