I was looking for a Hyundai reconditioned gearbox and stumbled upon them via a referral. The initial telephonic contact on the 23 October was pleasant and I was told that they had a gearbox @ R10500 including my old gearbox and will confirm if it is ready. I had to call back over the next few days to confirm if it was back from the engineers. On the 28 October, I was told it would be ready for collection on the 29 October. I wasn't able to make it but informed them that I would be there on the 29 October. I was then advised by a third party to enquire about the torque convertor. I was not told by Xlint that the torque convertor was not included. I enquired and was told that they had one ready and I had to bring in my old torque convertor. The price quoted was R2900. I arrived at Xlint on the 30 October and neither part was ready. I was told that the mechanic had to check the gearbox and the torque convertor would be delivered the next day. One plug on the gearbox had to be changed and this I understood. I paid R13400 in cash. From the next day, more hassles started
