Khan's Gearbox Specialist
Poor Workmanship at Khan's Gearbox

I had my 2006 BMW E90 repaired at Khans Gearbox Specialists at 372 Bellair Road (372 Vusi Mzimela Rd), Mayville, Durban - RMI No: 5001806 on 2 October 2012.
I was charged R13000 for the Torque Converter and R12 000 for the Megatronics.
The insurance only covered R10 000 for the Megatronics.
A week after the car was repaired, I returned to Khans and complained that the gears were not changing as it should.
They put it on the computer and test-drove it. That seemed to sort out the problem.
Two weeks later, I was back again because the gears kept getting stuck in the 4th or 5th gears. They put it on the computer and it sorted out the problem.
A month later, the gearbox did the same thing. I complained to them that this was not normal and asked they had to sort out the problem once and for all.
They put it on the computer and said it was sorted out.
Every time I returned there, they put it on the computer and said it was sorted out.
It's been on and off for a year now.
I've sometimes been there twice or thrice a month for the same problem.
Now they tell me that I need another Megatronics and Torque converter.
