On the 26 September 2013 I went to Gearbox & Drivetrain Specialists to purchase a mini cooper gearbox which I paid R8500. I collected the gearbox and when I took it to my mechanic I was told that there was a part missing. I then took the gearbox back to Gearbox & Drivetrain Specialists and Norman told me to bring in my old gearbox and he will charge me R6500 to repair it and will refund me R2000. Norman then repaired my mini gearbox and every time my mechanic puts it into the car there is a problem either the 1st gear is not working or the reverse gear. I have taken the gearbox to Norman 3 times already to repair and it is still not right and I and still awaiting my R2000 refund which I was promised. Please don't ever use Gearbox & Drivetrain Specialists even if they give you a cheap quote and it will end up costing you more than a new gearbox.
