On Friday the 20th of Sept my Renault Megane Coupe went in for a 90000 major service. The car came back with everything saying it had been checked and everything was fine. However after me telling them the breaks were screeching they said it was fine and the brakes are still screeching when you brake. However now when you reverse the car or stop at a robot and then take off it makes the sound as if you have left the handbrake on. Wehn I called CMH Renault Midrand now on 0112386000 and spoke to Jaycee she said I can bring the car in on Monday but she wouldn't have a courtesy car to give me. Perhaps she would have one on wednesday so I said well then Wednesday it would have to be because I need a car. I am not sure how there is no car on Monday. I then called back to ask how much it would cost and why they didn't pick the noise up when they did the service. Jaycee said she is not sure so I said well how much would it cost me, she said it would be R598.50 if I wanted them to check the whole car out. So I said I just want the noise sorted out. The car is still under 90000kms and still in warranty. Why must I pay for the car to be checked when this noise happened after service?
