In August 2012, I was searching for a new car when I found 2011 Hyundai i30 on Auto Trader, advertised by Mr Bill Grobler. I arranged a viewing and was happy. I was told that the vehicle was a bank repo. Bill ensured me that the car hadn't been in an accident. He said if I was interested, to call Blair Grobler- his granddaughter at Combined Automotive Solutions. I did so, & she said she would arrange finance for me. She contacted Absa & Wesbank private finance. When the private finance was almost completed, they changed their mind & said that they will arrange finance through Botha and Deysel Motors Boksburg (who was apparently their preferred supplier). When I tried to sell the vehicle this year June, I was notified that the vehicle had accident damage. Shocked, I went to see the dealership who had given me this information, who showed me that the vehicle had been in a serious accident in Feb 2012, amounting to more than the car's value. I verified the HPI report and took the car in for a full technical report. I got an 8 page report back on the damage. The car has so much damage, I have proof that it illegally passed roadworthy. These people are ruthless, so stay away!
