I took my GTI for its first service at 15000km, after having the car for a few days longer than 6 months. The moment I picked the car up, it started and then cut out. This problem is intermittent, but can be "demonstrated" if need be. I bought my car from Tableview Motorport, and the car was in officially 8 times, and the odd few times I took it in to show them the problem and connect the car to the diagnostics. It was established that no fault was displayed on the diagnostics system, but the attitude and willingness to help from Motorport was pathetic. This was my second Golf 6 GTI bought from the same sales person, who never once called to find out how I am doing. I have incurred costs of working hours and petrol to deliver the car about 10 times to Tableview, and no apology was given or some form of remedy offered. i even requested VW SA to send a technician, and they refused, having a letter in writing as proof, of their commitment to do nothing. I even contacted the RMI, but they have no legal standing to really assist, but act as a mediator, and i am still the one that gets caught financially.7 months later, and another 3 visits to another dealer, car not fixed. I want my money back in full
