I bought my Kia Cerato 2.0L in July 2011, had great servie from Centurion, However first thing I noticed was the gear lag, at that stage no "software upgrade" was available, on in December 2011, had that done, seemed to sort out the 1 to 2 gear lag however the 2 to 3 gear lag still persists to this day every time I go to Kia, they try "reload" the software again, and again the same results lag from 2-3, Please can this be sorted out as this is a fantastic car, and this is the only bug bear to this date, please advise what corrective actions can be done? I don't want to take it to a non Kia person to reprogram the on board computer as I'm sure the after market people can definitely do this but it will make my Warranty null and void, which I want to avoid.
