In January my wife and I bought a Chev Cruze from Reeds N1 City. It was a demo model and we recieved excellent service from Kurt Swartzkopff. The car was a demo model and Reeds N1 City drove the car half way to Calvinia, were we picked it up and drove back to Upington.
Kurt gave us a week to report any problemes, and so we did. He assured us that GM Upington would fix any niggles. So today I took the car in, and when the lady from reception called the manager "for the car from Reeds N1 City" he's reply out the offive was: "Tell him to take it back to Reeds N1 City"!! If that was not enough, anouther salesmen, asked why do I take buiness away from Upington? Then he went on to say that I sould not expect "super service or a courtesy car" from them in the future, they have no obligation to help me. They will just do the service and thats it. "GM can not force me to help a customer who did not buy the car from them. I tried to explain I personally know the guys from N1 city as I am from that area. but he just continued to bad mouth me. I told him that I am not sorry for not buying the car from them I mean WHAT THE??
GM Upington made my choice easier for the future.
