I purchased a fantastic used car from Kia Bryanston, Johannesburg. 2 years later I had my first puncture. When taking out my new, unused spare tyre to change it, I realised that the rim of the new tyre does not fit the car! This tyre / rim was supplied and "checked" by Kia Bryanston before I purchased the vehicle.
One should not have to change a tyre to make sure it fits the vehicle you have just purchased...
After a personal visit to Kia Bryanston, and numerous emails and phone calls, Kia refuse to take responsibility for providing me with the wrong tyre rim saying that it must "have been swapped out at a service". My car has had 2 services since purchasing the vehicle, both were with a reputable car dealership...
Not only has Kia Customer Care been thoroughly rude, but they refuse to take responsibility for providing me with a wrong tyre and rim, and I am absolutely shocked at the poor service I received.
