I bought a VW Tiguan Sport and Style 2012 model WAITED 6 months as it is import from Germany. My left tyre hit a pavement and burst I had been looking for a tyre for a week now and the vehicle is on warranty they don't have the tyre in SA and now they tell me I MUST SETTLE FOR THE SMALLER TYRE AT 16INCH Whereas the original tyre is a 17inch and the manual stipulates it must be exact size and not small. I am disappointed how can I buy a VW product in SA and only to be told a Tyre is only in Germany. We all know with insurance if in accidents tyres are the 1st on check in this case what happens if I have less speculated the vehicle... I took the trouble and looked for the tyre myself even went to UMhlanga VW the could not assist the car is not even 1 yr old and in warrantee
