I bought a 1 year old vehicle a year ago from the dealership. I made it clear that i am a first time buyer&i was putting my trust in the dealership to sell me a reliable pre-owned vehicle.
Over the weekend i met the jack spanner & spare tyre for the first time, upon getting the tyre out the car, i was told that the spare had a side wall puncture & not usable, i drove the vehicle to a nearby tyre shop about 2km away&they assisted in reparing the puctured tyre with a plug. Currently i drive around with no spare tyre. This morning i phone the dealership and speak to the sale manager Phillip & explain my happenings of the weekend&all he says is come in and we will see IF we can assist you. after explaining i work 6km from work and their branch is situated -30km away from me. I was so upset, close to tears as this is the 3rd time i am having problems with assistance with the dealership. As a single female in JHB i do not feel safe&i trusted the dealership&this is what i receive in return, i feel so ripped off as he made the assumption that i wanted a freebie when all i want is what i paid for, i would just like them to bring me a spare tyre that is usable without further inconveinance.
