After having a car booked and also another rent in the past.
I asked personally to the sales person if I can leave my card to my wife (also present) and leave to a meeting because I was in a rush. She said SURE, no problem.
Few minutes after and 10 KMs away, my wife calls me telling that they refused to accept it. So basically I ended up incurring in extra costs just because of that bad joke
Also, the car was scratched all over (Group D) and they tried to give it to me without the tank being full. Imagine if you're not paying attention!
Lesson learned: Don't trust on the advice of the representative even if she is just in front of you.
So watch out and trust no one, specially if you're a foreigner.
