So.. I bought the new Golf 7 from McCarthy Volkswagen in Menlyn on the 6th of May 2012. After a week of driving the car, I realised a strange scratching noise (sounds like metal scratching on metal) near the right front wheel, and the radio and Bluetooth looses signal. This concerns me, as this is a brand new car and not supposed to have issues. I contacted them and they could only help me after a week.
After the week I went back, and Marcus told me this is "a known technical error" on the new Golf 7, and they await a solution from Germany! Say WHAT?? So they sold me a defective car, after they new this was a existing issue on the new Golf... So why was this not disclosed to me in the purchase process. Now how can you enjoy a new car that's defective from Volkswagen, and this info was not disclosed to me... VERY upset and disappointed.
I phoned Volkswagen SA yesterday (04/06/2013).. spoke to Carol, and still waiting for someone to contact me back.. so much for the 10/10 rating they always want, but when they have your money, they don't care about the after service it makes me feel..
Now im wasting my time and money to sort out this... so I just want my money back or a new car..
