I bought a Golf 7 from VW Menlyn. I noticed some paint defeciencies and took the car to Dekra which confirmed the defeciencies. VW assessed my car and the guy said that he can see the inconsistencies. In a letter to my lawyer they said its not visible. This is not true!! Now VW want to fix this under warranty.. But this was an issue before the car was sold to me. Now they want to re-spray my car thats brand new under the warranty - this is unacceptable, as the paint was an issue before the car was in my name, thus no warranty can justify this!! so then its not a new car anymore. Im very dissapointed in the enethical and unprofesional manner that my case is handled by VW SA. I want a portion of the purchase price back, as this is not a new car because the report confirmed that it looks like there was some cosmetic or factory repairs to my "brand new car" I will lose money if i sell this car, as the new owner will think the car was in an accident!!
Not that they have my money, they dont care about a unhappy customer!!! Very unhappy!!! Very unethical inmy opinion!
