Firstly i would like to place on record that i have been a very loyal supporter of the VW brand for the past 10 years and i have never ever experience any problems with any of my previous 3 GTI's and also my POLO TDI SPORT.
I have purchased my GOLF 6 GTI in March 2011 brand new and i have been having endless issues with this vehicle from Wind noises, defective parts and also the vehicle grinding to a halt while driving it.
The straw that broke the camels back is my recent eposide where the clutch is now giving me a problem. I have taken my vehicle to VW BARONS on 2 occasions to have this problem looked at. The first time the service advisor said that he didnt find any issue and after a day the problem resurfaced.
I have since taken the vehicle back to BARONS and to my disappointment they have told me after stripping the clutch, pressure plate and flywheel that the components are damaged due to driving style &WEAR and TEAR. I felt this was totally not acceptable and reported the issue to VWSA but only to find out the results where the same. I need some resolution from VWSA on this as im now frustrated.
I am since driving my vehicle after collection & my clutch is winding :-(
