I took my car (audi TTS) for 150 000 km service at audi sandton three/four weeks ago. i was made to understand everything is ok with the car in terms of the service that was done. I have been driving the car with the belief that everything is fine. To my disbelief, this afternoon as i was driving on the highway the car gave me a red sign of engine oil, whithin seconds before i could stop the car, i heard a noise and the engine shut down on me. The car could not start again. When i opened the car there was oil outburst on the floor of the cover and it spilled on some parts of the engine as well. I towed the car to audi sandton since they worked on the car and was told everything was perfect. I asked the consultant a number of times for my certainty when I took the car after the service that I should not worry about the competence of the work done on the car. But it seems something was not done right during the service and now i have to be without a car because of audi's incompetence. This is really an appalling service for such a reputable dealership. I expect the dealership to take responsibility of the damage on the car and provide me with a courtesy car.
