We used to be regulars at this Spur. The last few times we have been there, the food has been terrible. Chips ALWAYS stale!! I asked for an egg to be over easy, it came back hard. When I complained, they took the egg away & promised to do it right. Same time I noted the chips were stale, so sent the whole meal back. They returned with another hard egg, chips that were only slightly less stale or overcooked and the steak so dry, it kept getting stuck in my throat. So manager took steak away and returned with another (again not much better) when I had finished everything else on my plate!!! He apologised, however, they keep apologising but never really ever fixed the problems here. That was the worst meal I have had in ages! So not happy with this Spur. Really has gone down and at this rate they will close down! From now on its Mikes Kitchen for us! They need to get rid of some of the kitchen staff. The waiter however, was very good...
