After the last pathetic experience I had at this Spur I was contacted by the owner and told to please try the Spur again as my experience was a once off occurance so we did, Well it went even worse this time and I now rate this Spur as the worst in South Africa, We arrived at 21h00 and were told the Spur was closed and we stated that you have just seated another party app 5 seconds ago so what is going on and suddenly you were open and we were seated. We ordered lazy aged steak and chips and hake and chips. While waiting for our food a further 3 groups were told the resturat was closed time not even 21h05. The floors were then mopped and tables in our area tipped up. Approximatly 21h25 the manager on duty came to us and said and I quote " The chips are up as the oil is old so they cannot make chips" Nice to speak to a customer and their wife like this. I asked do you not have any fresh oil and I was told " Yes but we willl only use it tomorrow" I then asked so what about your current customers? and the manager shrugged his sholders. We again cancelled our meal and walked out. What a poor excuse for Spur go and learn at the pavilion how to run a Spur. What a let down again!!!
