We were on our home from Durban when we decided to stop at Maxi's just outside Harrismith my sister in law placed her order and I placed mine and the ladies behind the counter were very rude we never got a receipt to say if we had paid or even to confirm if the amount paid was correct when we asked for a slip the lady just looked at us and said something in her language and we still never got the receipt. My sister in laws order arrived and she left as my order came she walked back in and asked me to have a look at the sandwich and tell her what I see the bread was full of mould they used old bread and when we called the lady she looked at the sandwich and went to the kitchen we never got sorry or anything all she said was do you want another one no sooner did she walk away my brother in law came in with his sandwich also full of mould she ordered him another one and still not a sorry no manager they actually got annoyed cause we brought them back. I WILL NEVER EVER GO TO A MAXI'S AGAIN. I will rather stand in the Que at the Onestop in Harrismith and order from WIMPY! if you want good quality food (fresh) and service stay away
