Our waitress only visited our table three times. 1) Drink order. 2) Food order and 3) to bring our food. She was never in sight when we were looking for her. All the waiters tend to gather at the front of the restaurant and have a chat leaving their tables. In our case we wanted to order something extra to drink - which we only ended up doing when she brought our food.
We were sitting next to the kitchen so I could see the food being brought out. My meal was standing in the window for precisely 9 minutes and 42 seconds (yes I timed it) before she brought my food.
Trying to ask a different waiter for some help was useless because they just walk past you when you ask for service.
The manager never came to our table - I waved for him to come over and he just walked the other way.
This is not my first bad experience at this Maxi's - I only go back because I enjoy the curry dish but I'm afraid that I'll have to go to a different branch.
