I have never been so horrified by bad service & arrogant attitude as I was tonight at Katexas Steakhouse in Kathu (Northern Cape). I walked in, had to somehow get the attention of the waitress to point me to a table. Then sat there without a menu and had to grab one from a table behind me when none was forthcoming. I then made it clear upfront that I'm ordering take-away. Waitress returns a few minutes later to tell me that they can't serve me take-aways as they were very busy. I then requested to see the manager, who simply came and didn't even introduce herself as such and gave me the same story. When I demanded that they assist as per my original request, she then said my order will take a while. Which really sounded like a punitive response to my request. As if that was not enough, I was made to sit and wait after the order was delivered, simply because the waitress did not understand how to process my voucher as a method of payment. This arrogant and insensitive attitude leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
I appeal to the owner to do something radical about this matter as it may cause them business. I run a branch in a bank and know what it is to deal with customers.
