I met a friend at Ocean Basket, Claremont for lunch (26/1/2013 at 1:58). I had arrived first at 1:58 & was seated at a table and given the menu's. A few minutes later a waitress walked passed and comment: "you are all alone at such a big table" & that was the end of that. My friend showed up 12 minutes later & we said our hello's and etc.By then 15 minutes had passed & I had not been asked if I want anything or if we are ready to order. Evenutally I called the manager (unfortunately I did not pay attention to his name) & said to him that I had now been sitting at the table for 15 minutes & no waiter or waitress, dont know who our waitress is & quiet honestly ready to walk out & go elsewhere. He apologised & asked what he could get us. We finally got our water. Another 15 min had passed & still no watiress & by then said to my friend we are going. The manager saw me get up & swiftly came over to ask what the problem was - I said i had been sitting there for 30min & still dont know who the waitress is, we have not been asked if want anything or if we are ready to order. He responded: the waitress (?) saw us talking & did not want to bother us & said I could have called the waitress -REALLY!!!
