My family went to Little Thunder Spur for Breakfast at about 10.30 on Sunday (29 September). It was very busy and we had to wait a short while for a table. Our waiter was Michael and according to his tee-shirt he is a trainee. Despite being new and with a very busy section and nearing the end of what must have been a very busy breakfast run, he was efficient, friendly and above all enthusiastic about taking our order and double checking he'd got everything correct. A little later he saw that I had almost finished my coffee and asked if I wanted a refill and refills were there for myself and my husband in a flash. He was attentive enough to be there when we needed him without being irritating and in the way. Despite the restaurant being busy we were never made to feel like he was in a rush, and I have seen many more experienced waiters spinning when it gets too busy. I did mention to the manager on duty that Michael is a keeper. I hope that he never loses that enthusiasm and commitment to his customers. His great attitude put me in a really good mood for the day
