I went to Spur, Parow Centre on the 26/11/2013 for a spur breakfast special. I had a cheese griller add on with a coffee. I went in at 10h50 and placed my order. I received the coffee 15 mins after order. I received my breakfast at 11h25. It took them 10 mins to refill my coffee.
On the 27/11/2013 I was invited to breakfast with the contracts manager I do work with. We went in at 09h20, ordered a breakfast special with coffee and add on cheese griller. Breakfast was received at 10h15. A refill coffee took 15mins. I asked for a glass of ice water which I never received.
When discussed with the manager all he could reply was: was the food good.
The complaint wasn't with the food. The food was good.
It was the sluggish service rendered. To wait 30mins or more for a simple breakfast is completely ridiculous and pathetic. The time factor doesn't seem to bother anyone.
Something seriously needs to be done to attend to this problem. I've not experienced this at any of the other spur restaurants. I'm really not impressed at the pathetic service rendered.
