My wife and I woke up this morning deciding we will go for breakfast at Spur, after promptly being seated the manager JP was at our table immediately to take our order knowing our waiter was busy at another table for the time being (great initiative and managing qualities JP), our waiter was there as soon as he could be and fulfilled out order with a smile. The General Manager (Hendrik) knowing that we love chips was at our table 2min later with a warm plate of complementary chips and shortly there after JP with our toast, mentioning that he brings our toast to us now so that it would keep us busy preparing it for our breakfast (outside of the box thinking guys, small things make the biggest difference, keep it up) and then our food arrived, our waiter George was well mannered and timed his visits perfectly, out of all the restaurants my wife and I visit, its times like this and people like this that keeps reminding us why we WANT to go there! What ever these guys are being paid is not enough, good service is scarce in SA... And who ever had the idea of bottomless coffee being served in the mornings of the weekends, great job, may other business aspire to be as good! We loved it!!
