McDonalds opened a new branch in Benoni located cnr Mercury and Great North Road. It's been open for a week now. We decided to give them a go last night at 19h30pm. What a disaster and disappointment. We stood in the drive thru queue for 25min before we could place our order. The it took another 25min from the order window to the payment window, only to find that they didn't have our order on the system. We re-ordered and had to wait another 10 min to get a slip for our food. But wait, it doesn't end there... The Junior cheese burger literally only had a patty and half a piece of cheese on it. My McChicken burger consisted of two halfs of the bun, the patty and lettuce... No sauce (Pic's can be sent on request)
We thought this branch is popular due to the consistent car queues we see there only to find out now that allot more is behind this as none of the standard processes and work flows seem to be followed here.
A big thumbs up to the lady at McDonalds client services line who assisted us in getting a complaint lodged. She was very friendly, and extremely understanding.
