The service that I received from Nandos Hatfield yesterday, 3 September 2013, was absolutely appalling. Firstly, I called wanting to order for pick-up. The lady on the other end told me, very rudely, that they do not do pick-up orders after 8pm. I decided to drive to the store and place an order there. I wanted 2 spicy rice and chicken strips, but was told that although there was rice, there were no chicken strips. I then decide to order 2 quarter chicken meals. The server at the till was extremely rude, seemingly because she wanted to go home. However, it was still 30 minutes to closing time.
Upon opening my take-aways at home, I was extremely disappointed. The chicken was swimming in the basting sauce, unlike any product that I have ever ordered and enjoyed from the restaurant previously. No condiments had been placed in the take-away bag, and the chips were cold.
As an avid supporter of the chain I am extremely disappointed. I feel like I wasted my money in purchasing from the store as I did not enjoy my meal in the least.
