After a nice shopping spree I took my mother out for a bite to eat at the local Spur. I've eaten at Spur's most of the Spur's in the Western Cape and never had I had such an unpleasant time as I had on Saturday afternoon.
On arrival of the food the orders was mixed up I ordered a T-bone steak (medium rare which was well done) with chips and onion rings on a hot plate (the plate wasn't even that hot) and my mother the big chief combo (smallest I ever seen) with a green salad (Chicken and Lamb chop was rare). Needless to say we had to change it with out they even offering to correct their mistake.
After 18mins the manager finally arrived to ask about our complain. She could not see anything wrong with the food but offered to exchange my steak after I was half way done with it. After that see didn't came back to ask again nor did we see the waitress and the restaurant wasn't that busy. We had to ask one of the runners to call the waitress for the bill.
If it wasn't that we were hungry and for my mother that wanted us not to leave and rather enjoy our company I would have left and not paid the bill.
Never ever again...
