We have been meaning to visit the Spur branch in Westgate for months and decided to have lunch there today. The service was excellent, Heather who served us was a very capable and friendly waitress, 10/10 to her but the food... We are Spur lovers and therefore know that a person always gets a plate of food that is so big that there is always take away's but not this time... the portions were so small and I am very disappointed as it did not even cover Spur's plate they serve their food in. One of the dishes ordered was Spur's famous ribs but with disbelief I looked at it, the ribs were very very tiny, not even the size of a ladies steak, witch brings me to the second dish that was ordered, steak and chips... the steak, very very tiny and it was not a ladies steak that was ordered. The 3rd dish was (supposed to be) my big size portion of Nacho's. I never get halfway yet today I had the whole plate? the cheese that usually covers the nacho's were missing in action. A side plate of onion rings? little strings of sloppy onions, I don't know how I can describe it.
Last but not least, when a child dish is served, cutlery suitable for a child should be served with it... no?
