At approximately 09h30 on Sunday 26th May 2013, we stopped at the drive-thru of Mcdonalds in Rosebank to order breakfast. The attendant at the drive-thru counter proved difficult from the beginning, repeating questions 3 times. We ordered an egg mcmuffin meal and sausage mcmuffin meal. On arriving at the window to pay the attendant advised us the the sausage mcmuffin would not come as a meal with a hashbrown. When we asked why he stated that we did not order a meal, as we had. We told him that he had probably not heard as he had asked several times whether we were sure about the item, and asked him to rectify the order. At this point we were highly irritated already. Instead of simply changing the order the attendant continued to argue with us that he was right and we were wrong. I have worked in the service industry most of my career and cannot believe that any person working in retail, particularly the restaurant business would argue with a customer! I am highly disappointed and will certainly never go to that Mcdonalds ever again.
