We went to the Wild Eagle Spur in Ruimsig last week Friday to have a relaxed night. The waiter that seated us did not bother to get our drinks order, and I know he should do this as I used to waitress at Spur in Durban. Eventually after 10-15 minutes, we had to call a waiter to get our drinks order. The drinks took a long time for delivery to our table. The waitress that served us looked like she was spinning. We did not have cutlery when our food was delivered to us. When we had finished eating, we asked the waitress to put our food in a doggie bag. This took another 20 minutes for her to eventually do, actually she didn't do that. The manager did that after we complained about the service we'd received from this lady. To make matters worse, while we were complaining two of the waitrons was standing behind us. The one waiter proceeded to ask the other what we were complaining about. The other responded everything. All this in our presence and we know that they were talking about us because my husband confirmed with them. This turned out to be anything but a relaxed and enjoyable evening that we had envisioned. Very disappointing.
