We went to Wild Eagle Spur last night for dinner. When we got there we asked for Coke Zero from the fountain as we have 3 kids and the first cold drink is free for them. My son is also a Type 1 diabetic so all the other cold drinks are not an option. Abel said that they don't do any "zero" cold drinks out of the soda fountain... this obviously got my temperature up because all our kids should have the same drinks. Luckily he explained to us that getting a sugar free option is not a problem we just have to ask for it specifically as they can't keep sugar free and normal coke in the fountain as you can't tell the difference when you take it to the customer.
The fact that Abel took time to explain to us why they don't do it and how we can order it in the future just made my night. I am so tired of companies not willing to accommodate the customer that I do sometimes get way to upset. But with Abel's help and with Michael our waiter our night was wonderful.
The kids had a blast and we enjoyed some quiet time. Thanks Abel and Michael for a really great night.
