On the 1st December my husband and I went to Spur for a quick starter each. We got there at 19h00, and asked that our waiter give us 5minutes to settle in before we ordered. after 10minutes when no-one came to take our order, we asked another waitress to assist and placed our order of 2 drinks, full portion buffalo wings, nachos and a half portion of mushrooms. Our food only got to us at 19h55, in this time no-one came to offer another refreshment or explain why the food could possibly take this long. When we got our food the nachos were burnt black around the edges. The waiter never came to ask if we were happy with the food or if we would like to order anything else. I never once saw the manager doing rounds to ask if we were happy with the service (which we were not) We didn't even finish our meal, asked another waitress to bring a take away box, which never came, eventually our waitress showed face and we got the take away box, packed our food and left. I find it extremely hard to understand this type of terrible service when the restaurant wasn't busy in the least. I love going to spur, but doubt that I would ever show face in this Branch again. Terrible to say the least!
