ACCOUNT DEBITED AFTER PAYING IN FULL!!!

To start off with I had to request a settlement letter twice. I had to make two phone calls to make sure that the credit card was cancelled but it was not. On all occasions I had to speak as if I was talking to a 5 year old because the consultants could not understand what was going on. How difficult is it??? I paid in full... cancel the card!!! If you try calling the call centre you have no choice but to hold on for ages before you actually get to voice prompt options. I did have a problem last year where they debited my account early and I had to pay the bank charges. Its not the amount of the charges, its the principle that me off. So now after paying in full on 08/04/2013, being told it would take 5 working days to confirm, I had to call to confirm again but was told that I would still be paying R57 per month!!! Im so fed up. The cherry on top... I just logged on to my internet banking and my account has been debited for that same freakin card which I paid off. African Bank is the biggest mistake I have ever made. I tried the call centre now, held on for about 5 minutes and didnt even get through to anyone. I want my money back in FULL. Sick of this!!!
