I have been insured with Virgin Insurance for over 2 years and I have all 3 vehicles insured with them. I got a nasty surprise this morning when my premium increased by 35% without any notice, The rude consultant informed me that a letter was sent but probably not delivered due to the post office strike. He further could not give me a valid reason for the 35% increase especially due to the fact that I have never claimed before and am low risk. My understanding is that insurance is supposed to get cheaper the older the vehicle is rather than have my premium increase by 35%.
