Our premium was increased from R1886.13 to R 2 208.52 effective 1 September 2013 then reduced to R1965.69 when I queried the steep increase. Then increased again at anniversary (October 2013) to R2119.32 literally 1 month later after the one increase. I complained once again and the premium dropped to R2001. now we received notification of another increase to R2379.68 which equates to a R378.68 increase per month. have you people lost your mind? you refer to 2 claims - 1 claim should have been recovered from 3rd party and the tail light claim was R4316. besides does it mean each time we claim we will incur a premium increase? what about the months we pay and not claim? don't you think it defeats the purpose of having insurance? its high time this is brought to the attention of the ombudsman. I would have sent an email but my consultant Nomzamo takes her time to respond if she does at all. every time i have to run after her to give me answers.
